I love everything chocolate! Especially chocolate covered strawberries! Usually these babies come out around Valentine's Day because of course they are an aphrodisiac but I found this picture on Pinterest.com (addicted) and had to make a how to for you! They are really easy! and ohh so cute! A sure way to sweeten the Super Bowl Party!
Football Strawberries Recipe
Courtesy of Yours Truly, Holly M. Miller
Ingredients:
1 Baker's Dipping Semi-Sweet Chocolate Cup (see photo)
1 pint Strawberries
1 Baker's Dipping White Chocolate Cup (or melted white chocolate chips - about a cup)
1 plastic sandwich bag
scissors
1 cookie sheet lined with wax paper (or parchment paper)
Directions:
Wash and dry your strawberries. Heat your semi-sweet chocolate according to package directions.
Dip your strawberries in chocolate leaving a little strawberry at the top.
Set on parchment paper and chill in the fridge for at least 20 minutes.
Remove from fridge.
Heat white chocolate cup according to package directions.
While heating, cut the tip of one corner off of your plastic bag. You want the whole to be super small so don't take too much!
Spoon melted white chocolate into plastic bag (use like frosting bag)
While strawberries rest on cookie sheet, squeeze white chocolate football markings onto strawberries.
Return to fridge for another 20 minutes.
ENJOY!
